Pfffff!!!

The book is written like as a priest lecturing stupid school kids. Its text uses a totalitarian approach to forward the message, with constantly emphasising, we humans cannot comprehend the bigger and "outer" things - "Thank you God, you made your point, now let me contemplate without your interference. You become more and more an annoyance.". The principle with new texts like this, including the book of Mormon, is, the authors are astute mind readers what humans want to hear, they cleverly translate their assumptions into make-believe fictional superimposed facets with the goal humans stand with awe in front of the newly self-created Devine human leader. Summoning up Urantia, its another trick-pony made in Chicago, attempting to rewrite the Biblical history. Apart from reading the Bible, I also read the Quran, ancient Sanskrit writings and Sumerian translations. I encourage to make the book of Urantia a must read for the sol purpose of free education on any subject. We live in a supposedly free society, in which we can think what we want, and believe what we want. If people find unquestioned peace in the teachings of this book, then the book served its purpose to those. However, my research on the book is conclusive. No further comment.

Profound and interesting.

It is a lot more interesting and packed with different details. Its almost a harmony of science and religion. However as mere humans, our understanding of such a book will be severely limited... Still an amazing book tho

What gift to now have access to the Urantia books wisdom. Thank you who ever you are!

From a theological point of view it pretends to go along with Christianity but differs in crucial points. It says Jesus didnt do miracles and was not born from a virgin. There are other examples. From a scientific point of view, it has some wacky theories, like the universe being trillions of years old, and electrons being made up of 100 smaller particles. None of it with a shred of support. Good for a read if treated as fiction but not recommended as historical fact like it claims.

Its a gift to have this book on me all the time.read it and see what it does to u.my life change since I have it.dont listen to skeptics.read it and judge by yourself.

There is a 90 percent chance the book is true. The book says Jesus Christ did many miracles. Read it.

Does not remember last page read when closing book. Books in iBooks all do. Otherwise, this version is greatly improved on ipad.

It gave me answers to all my existential questions, and more. I now know who I am, where I come from, and especially where I come from.

Here is an excellent book for, at least, food for thought if not much, much more. It answers more questions than you ever wanted or were able to ask and also many are still unanswered. To me it is ever inspiring and led me in a direction which I was looking for all my life. Be open minded and look at life from a different point of view and believe only what feels right in your heart.

Fantastic way to read the Urantia Book wherever you are, with great features like the bookmarks and random quotes.

The book reminds very vividly that the most powerful country in the world, the USA, is still also a country of illuminated Gods fools, always in the way of inventing a yet another heresy, and always in the way of bringing their new heresies in the pentacostal way to the rest of the yet not so illuminated world. Oh, Lord, have a pity of all of us!

This book changed me back into a Christian after being an atheist for 10 years. It has all the answers I needed and yes, Ive read the bible many times and did a lot of study on it. I grew up going To church and did so until I was 23 when I changed to atheism because of the many problems I found with the bible. Give the book a read through before spouting an opinion. I was very skeptical at first and set out to prove it was crap. What a surprise it was to see the detail it had on questions I had pondered for years.
